Can A Child Go To Heaven Without Being Baptized?

The Answere is:

Yes according to the following statements made by Jesus:

“About that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, ‘which of us is greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven?’

Jesus called a small child over to him and put the child among them.  Then he said, ‘I assure you, unless you turn from your sins and become as little children, you will never get into the Kingdom of Heaven.  Therefore, anyone who becomes as humble as this little child is the greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven.  And anyone who welcomes a little child like this on my behalf is welcoming me.’” (Matthew 18:1-5 NLT)

In another incident:

“Some children were brought to Jesus so he could lay his hands on them and pray for them.  The disciples told them not to bother him.  But Jesus said, “Let the children come to me.  Don’t stop them!  For the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these.”(Matthew 19:13-14 NLT)

Then, what about the inherited sin from Adam and Eve towards a Child?

God had already punished man for the sins inherited from Adam and Eve.  See the two segments of Bible in the following:

“The Lord God placed the man in the Garden of Eden to tend and care for it.  But the Lord God gave him this warning: ‘You may freely eat any fruit in the garden except fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.  If you eat of its fruit, you will surely die.’” (Genesis 2:15-17 NLT)

After Adam and Eve ate the fruit from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil:

“Then he (God) said to the woman, ‘You will bear children with intense pain and suffering.  And though your desire will be for your husband, he will be your master.’”

And to Adam he (God) said, ‘Because you listened to your wife and ate the fruit I told you not to eat, I have placed a curse on the ground.  All your life will struggle to scratch a living from it.  It will grow thorns and thistles for you, though you will eat of its grains.  All your life will sweat to produce food, until your dying day.  Then you will return to the ground from which you came.  For you were made from dust, and to the dust you will return.’” (Genesis 3: 16-19 NLT)

Mark documented what Peter told him:

Anyone who believes and is baptized will be saved.” (Mark 16:16 NLT)

Jesus was being baptized as an adult, not as a baby or even a child. (see Matthew 3:13-17)

Based on the Words of Jesus, a child died, he/she will go to Heaven (he/she will go to Paradise first – a Waiting Room before go to Heaven – no judgment pending) regardless whether he/she had been baptized or not.
